BURNSVILLE, N.C. – Western North Carolina’s oldest operating inn, a place that has hosted the likes of Mark Twain, Elvis Presley and Jimmy Carter, is under new ownership.

The Nu Wray Inn was purchased this fall by two couples from the Asheville area – Joey and Jill Farmer and Eric and Christy Wilson.
